Plain terms, on tape.

By signing in to or using Recappi, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Recappi lets you record audio, store it on Cloudflare R2, transcribe it with Google Gemini or Xiaomi Mimo, optionally align transcript timestamps with xAI word timing, use live Grok speech-to-text, and read or search the resulting transcripts. The feature set may evolve over time. We reserve the right to add, change, or remove features as the product develops.

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials (Google or GitHub) secure. One account per person. Account sharing is not permitted on paid plans.

You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at privacy@recordmeet.ing if you suspect your account has been compromised.

You agree:

• Not to record any person or conversation without obtaining whatever consent the applicable law requires. Whether you are in a one-party or two-party-consent jurisdiction is your responsibility, not ours.
• Not to upload illegal content, including content that infringes third-party rights.
• Not to resell, white-label, or otherwise rebroadcast our service or its API output as a transcription product of your own.
• Not to scrape, abuse, or attempt to circumvent quotas, rate limits, or other protections.

Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe. Plan caps (storage and transcribed minutes per month) are listed on the Plans page.

Upgrades are prorated. You can cancel at any time and your subscription will continue to the end of the paid period. We do not refund partial months unless required by local law.

You keep all rights, title, and interest in your audio recordings and the transcripts we generate from them.

You grant Recappi a narrow licence to store, process, and transcribe your content strictly to deliver the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI or to develop features, and we do not grant our transcription providers permission to train on it.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Transcription accuracy is not guaranteed; you should not rely on transcripts for high-stakes decisions without verifying them against the source audio.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recappi's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50 if you are on the free tier.

We may update these terms with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate §04 Acceptable use.
